HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIR

Life is precious
As we grow old
Full of memories
That we do hold
Of all the places
Where we have been,
Of tears and laughter
And hopes and dreams
Life is eternal
With God above,
Who gave us life
Filled with His love

May God’s awesome blessings
Be upon you this day
And for the future years ahead
May His blessings never fade
In every area of your life,
May God abound much more,
So you may be a fruitful vine
With the abundance of the Lord.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE OUTREACH CO-ORDINATOR FECA CALABAR 1.

THEME FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER 2012- 2 TIMOTHY 2:22.

THEME FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER- 2 TIMOTHY 2:22.

The theme for the month of December was proclaimed at FECA Friday’s service by Bro Esien Ukorebi [ President FECA CAL 1]. Taken from 2 Timothy 2:22; Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.[KJV], Run away from infantile indulgence. Run after mature righteousness—faith, love, peace—joining those who are in honest and serious prayer before God [MSG]

The Focus for this month is RIGHTEOUSNESS. As Fecaites, it’s our responsibility to study more on this theme, get a better understanding and deeper revelational knowledge for ourselves personally and by His grace exemplify that quality in our lives for the world to see. You might righteousness is not easy, remember that God didn’t call us for what is easy but what is possible.

Just a second before I sign off, Though, nothing in Christianity is possible without God’s grace, but you also have to make the move before anything happens. God’s grace and power in our life is like getting a recharge card free from someone as a gift, but If you don’t load your phone or activate it how does it profit you, So stop waiting for the Holy Spirit to come and majestically halt your lustful thoughts or lazy attitude or inability to stop lieing or fornicating. They is always a move from us [Man] no matter how free salvation or the gift of righteousness is….selah…

......Till I come your way again, keep stimulating a RIGHTEOUSNESS mindset amongst your peers…..SHALOM.

OUR BELOVED NATIONAL EXECUTIVES...

Keep the Vision burning.....by ceaselessly praying for them.

First Thessalonians 5:25, "Brethren, pray for us, greet all the brethren with a holy kiss, I adjure you by the Lord to have this letter read to all the brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you."

Finding Purpose also has to do with:

**When you speak in anger, choose your words carefully. Your anger may calm down with time, but the words you used in anger can't be taken back.

**You can never know your use and purpose, until you ask your creator.

**Readers are always Leaders. He who does not read is not better than him who cannot read or is blind.

**Content build-up is by far better and more important that external build-up.

**The reason you have not heard from God is because He has not heard from you. Read your Bible & Pray Everyday.

**Zechariah 13:9, Romans 8:6 Ephesians 1:11 and Malachi 3:1-6

**“If not to God, you will surrender to the opinions or expectations of others, to money, to resentment, to fear, or to your own pride, lusts, or ego. You were designed to worship God and if you fail to worship Him, you will create other things (idols) to give your life to. You are free to choose, what you surrender to but you are not free from the consequence of that choice.”

With Love from Publicity & Publications Department [FECA CALABAR 1], we say a sweet good night.

BRIEF HISTORY OF FECA.

BRIEF HISTORY OF FECA

In 1990, ten girls from Federal Government
Girls College [FGGC] Calabar, Cross River State,
were led of God to putting a lasting solution to a
predominant problem which plagued their students.

They discovered that students that had a hallmark
of integrity, undaunted devotion towards God, and
were examples for the juniors were becoming the exact
opposite of this when they entered the university. The
Juniors were becoming deeply worried as to what would
become of them since their role models were compromising
 their faith in Christ.

On leaving school [1989/1990] session, the group of ten girls
all in SS3, decided to correspond through letters with one
another and with Christians in other unity schools at that
time for the purpose of encouraging each other in the faith.
This was met with open arms, and soon after, meetings began
to hold in various place

Meetings began to hold in Calabar, port Harcourt, Enugu, Lagos
and Benin almost at once, and thereafter, they adopted
the name Federal Ex-students Christian Association, and it
was officially inaugurated in 1991 at Calabar.
Upon registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission,
in the month of August 2008, the name changed to
Federation of Colleges Ex-students Christian Association
 [FECA].

THE VISION OF FECA....

Our Vision

It is embodied in a statement "to redeem the desolation of our Land and Generation". It is our conviction that the ruins of our land (Nigeria) and generation can be rebuilt.
The scope of the vision is not only spiritual, but also embraces physical, mental, social, psychological and financial areas. This vision has crossed over 30 states with over 110 chapters planted. Presently, outdoor and indoor outreaches are regularly being organized in schools to reach out to both the saved and unsaved.
We engage in the following to fulfill the vision:
  1. Weekly fellowship meetings to build up and teach members.
  2. Outreach programmes: These outreaches take different forms such as academic seminars, talents development programmes/career talks, soul saving campaigns and nation development.
  3. Conventions, which serve to further unite the members and engrave the vision in their hearts.

OUR RELEVANCE IN NIGERIA

FECA is born to redeem this desolation, to build the ancient ruins that have lain desolate for many years now. We are alive to give the youths a direction, to make them place value on their existence and enhance their ability to contribute tangibly towards the development of this nation.
